Auto Paint & Body I & II

Credential

Students in the automotive paint & body program work towards earning certifications through the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). This is a nationally recognized and accepted credential which demonstrates proof of student knowledge in following areas of Automotive Service:

  • Paint & Refinish
  • Mechanical & Electrical
  • Non-structural Damage Analysis & Repair
  • Structural Damage Analysis & Repair 

Opportunities Upon Completion

Our automotive students are employed in the community as a result of the the program at the Career Center. 

Students may also continue their education to earn a technical diploma or associate’s degree.

Requirements

11th and 12th graders

A willingness to leave full of paint!

Uniform Requirements

Auto uniform shirt with Career Center logo monogrammed on left chest purchased at Workwear Concepts in Broussard 337-839-9675

Respirator

Safety shoes

Safety glasses

Dark pants or shorts

Fees

$25 Class fee

$2 School identification card fee

$20 School parking tag fee (optional)
