LPSS is excited to announce the appointment of Ross Rix as the new head boy’s basketball coach for Northside High School. Ross Rix, an Opelousas, Louisiana, native, brings a distinguished coaching career and a deep commitment to student-athletes to his new role as the head basketball coach at Northside High School. The assignment marks Rix second time leading the Vikings on the hardwood. He coached at NHS from 2014 to 2018.

Prior to his appointment at Northside, Rix held the dual role of Head Boys and Girls basketball coach and Athletic Director at JS Clark Leadership Academy, demonstrating his versatility and leadership in managing athletic programs.
