In response to the ongoing extreme cold weather and below freezing temperatures in our area, the
Lafayette Parish School System has decided to extend the closure of all schools and facilities. All schools
and facilities will remain closed on Wednesday, January 17, 2024.
The safety of our school community remains our top priority. While we will continue to monitor weather
conditions closely, we do anticipate the reopening of schools and facilities on Thursday, January 18,
2024. We will provide updates to our families and staff as the details become available.
