The Lafayette Parish School Board recognizes that access to technology in school gives students greater opportunities to gain future-ready technology and communication skills that will prepare them for work, life, and citizenship. To that end, we are committed to providing access to district network resources and technologies for student and staff use.

This agreement outlines the guidelines and behaviors that users are expected to follow when using school technologies. Acceptable use of these resources shall be consistent with the philosophy, goals, and objectives of the School Board.

Each student and his/her parent or guardian shall sign and return the Technology Section on page 6 before any student will be allowed to use any district technologies and/or network resources, including computers, the Internet, or email services.
