Planning & Facilities

The LPSS Planning and Facilities Department is responsible for the maintenance and construction of physical structures and properties owned and operated by the district. In addition, the department manages rented facilities, oversees waste collection contracts and manages utility budgets.

  • Construction and renovations of school facilities and district-owned buildings
  • Capital improvement projects associated with facilities improvements
  • Maintenance of all school facilities and district-owned buildings
  • Carpentry, Painting, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Exterminating and Grounds Maintenance
  • Bus & Vehicle Maintenance repair shop
  • Custodial Operations department and supplies
  • Energy Management Systems at all district-owned facilities
  • Garbage Collection contract management
  • Rental of Facilities management
  • Asbestos Management in all district-owned facilities
  • Utilities (electric, water, sewer, gas) budget management for all district-owned facilities
