Summary: 
Act 274 requires the establishment of a special education advisory council to provide advice and feedback regarding special education policies, procedures, and resources and engage in community outreach. 
LPSS met on 3 different dates to address the following topics:

• Transition Services
• Autism
• ABA Therapy Services
• Community Based Instruction
• Business Partnerships
• Festival Friendly projects for students with disabilities
• Criteria for Leap Connect students
• ESY and Summer School/camp opportunities
• Parental involvement
• Advocacy
