INFORMATION ABOUT GIFTED & TALENTED EVALUATIONS

Please contact the SBLC team at our child’s school to request a Gifted/Talented evaluation.

The following is a description of the evaluation process:

Gifted evaluation process:

• Referral (can be made by teacher, counselor, administrator, or parent)
• Screening (if the student passes all required screenings, then they move to evaluation)
• Evaluation

Talented evaluation process:

• Referral (can be made by teacher, counselor, administrator, or parent)
• Critique Screening (if the student passes, then they move on to state screening)
• State Screening (if the student passes, then they move on to evaluation)
• Evaluation
