STEM Pathways for High School at DTSMA

Professional School Counselors focus on three broad domains.

The academic domain includes implementing strategies and activities to support and maximize each student's ability to learn. This includes scheduling students in appropriate classes.

The career domain has two areas of focus to help students: 1.) understand the connection between school and the world of work and 2.) plan for and make a successful transition from school to post-secondary education and/or the world of work using Individual Graduation Plans.

The personal/social domain helps students learn to manage emotions and apply interpersonal skills so they can be successful in the classroom and in life.
