State Testing Information
Description of Each Test as found on LDOE website (click here for link to LDOE website):LEAP Connect
Each year, students enrolled in grades 3-8 and high school who meet the participation criteria for alternate assessments take a state test to measure their academic progress in English Language Arts (ELA) and mathematics. Identified students in grades 4, 8, and 11 will also take the LEAP Connect Science Field Test. The test is an alternative assessment to LEAP 2025.
ELPT
Each spring, students who have been identified as English Learners (ELs) enrolled in grades K-12 take ELPT. This online assessment is untimed, and measures a student’s English proficiency in the four language domains: Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening
LEAP 2025
Each year, students in grades 3 through high school take state tests to measure their knowledge and skills in each subject area or course and their readiness for the next level of study.
