Chromebook Information

Each AHS student can check out a device from the AHS Library with a signed LPSS technology agreement form. This form may be signed electronically via Parent Portal (see slide 6 for instructions). Any questions or concerns regarding access to Parent Portal may be addressed through the guidance department. The $15 Electronic Device Insurance fee must be paid online using SchoolCash. If you would like to opt out of paying this fee, please sign a waiver and return it to the library. Paper copies are available in the library.

This fee or a signed waiver is due no later than September 30, 2024 (or one month after enrollment) in order to ensure coverage for any repairs needed.

LPSS Hotspots

Hotspots provided by LPSS utilize WiFi that is an extension of the LPSS student network to ensure proper monitoring and filtering. Only school issued Chromebooks may be configured to the device. In order to be eligible students must not have access to home WiFi and have either paid the electronic device insurance or signed the waiver. Hotspot applications may be picked up in the library. There are a limited number available.
