Lafayette Parish Early Childhood Community Network

Applications for the Lafayette Parish School System Pre-K program along with all Program Partners of the Lafayette Parish Early Childhood Community Network are now online at .

Parents can access this application to apply for all programs in the Community Network serving children ages 6 weeks to 4 years old.

“By using one coordinated application, parents can easily access all Early Childhood services in Lafayette Parish ensuring that more families can find quality care and education for their children and more children have the opportunity to experience high quality interactions and learning” says Emmy Mouton, Early Childhood Network Coordinator for the Lafayette Parish Early Childhood Community Network.

The Lafayette Parish School System along with Nonpublic Schools of Early Childhood Development (NSECD), Type III Early Learning Centers (Child Care Centers), SMILE Head Start/Early Head Start, and United Way Early Head Start are working together under ACT 3 to provide better access to families and children through a coordinated enrollment system.

“Our parents will complete an online application at for a possible placement in the LPSS Pre-K4 Program. Parents will receive notification by email that will allow them to know sooner if their application has been accepted,” says Christine Duay, Director of Early Childhood for the Lafayette Parish School System.
