Sabine Parish School System Donates Supplies for Flood Victims

On Friday, August 26th, school system administrators from Sabine Parish delivered a shipment of donated goods and supplies to the Lafayette Parish School System warehouse to support families affected by the recent flood event. Among those making the delivery were Dr. Sara Ebarb, Superintendent of Sabine Parish schools, Rosie Sullivan, Supervisor of Food Services, and Charlie Mason, principal of Sabine Career Academy.  Lafayette Parish Superintendent Dr. Donald Aguillard, Chief Academic Officer, Annette Samec, board member Jeremy Hidalgo, and others met the Sabine Parish group to oversee and assist in the unloading of the shipment. Lafayette Parish officials all expressed their heartfelt thanks on behalf of the children and families affected by the flooding. Dr. Aguillard remarked that “it has been extremely gratifying to see the outpouring of support from so many different groups in the aftermath of the flood.”
