Lafayette Parish School System Administrative Staffing Placements

In an effort to balance the strengths of Lafayette Parish School System administrative teams, Superintendent Dr. Donald Aguillard has recently made a number of appointments and transfers. Tia Trahan has been transferred from Milton Elementary/Middle School.  She will serve as itinerant assistant principal at Comeaux High School and Acadiana High School. Tina Barnaba has been transferred from Carencro High School to Acadiana High School, and Jared LeBlanc will now serve Acadiana High full time rather than itinerant between Comeaux High and Acadiana High.  Assistant principal James Rollins has been transferred to Carencro High School from the W.D. and Mary Baker Smith Career Center, and Gil Douglas has been transferred from Comeaux High School to the Career Center. Sam Clay voluntarily transferred from Judice Middle School to assistant principal at Lafayette High School.

In addition to a number of recent administrative appointments, the movement of administrators across the district has created a number of vacancies. Carencro High School has an assistant principal position open.  Comeaux High and Lafayette High also have assistant principal positions open. Judice Middle School and Milton Elementary/Middle School have principal positions vacant. All of the current vacancies are being advertised by Human Resources on the Lafayette Parish School System website.
