ROBOTICS:  Last week, our local Robotics Team 3616 Phenomena competed at the Magnolia regional in Mississippi, competing against teams from across the nation and internationally. Congratulations to the team for winning the excellence in engineering award. From LHS, Rudra Karadkhelkar as head driver, Luc Petculescu as head coach, Grayson Pikkaart as head technician, Charles Barton IV as head captain, William LeBlanc as head human player, and Joseph Torres-Sanchez as head safety captain.

Congratulations to Rudra Karadkhelkar for winning the Dean’s List Finalist Award, the most prestigious award that an individual can win in FIRST Robotics Competition. He will be moving onto the FRC Championships to compete for the Dean’s List Champions.

Congratulations to Rudra Karadkhelkar for receiving the Yale Science and Engineedring Association Award for his Science and Engineering Fair Project.

BLOOD DRIVE: It's time for the Health Academy and Our Lady of Lourdes Spring Blood Drive! Today, March 12, the nurses from Our Lady of Lourdes blood wagon will be here to sign people up during both lunches. You must be 16 to donate with a yellow parent consent form. Anyone 17 and over can donate without this form. Forms will be given out by Lourdes today or Mrs. Simon starting Friday. Donations save thousands of lives in Acadiana each year. Be a part of something good and Donate! Every donor gets a t-shirt they can wear with jeans, joggers, or sweatpants - NOT Pajama pants-Friday March 21st.

Seniors and Graduating Juniors: It is now time to vote for your Class of 2025 shirt. The voting form can be found on the Class of 2025 Google Classroom. This is the shirt that will have all of the graduates' names on the the back. Only graduates who have paid their fee by 3 pm yesterday, March 10, will receive a shirt. The voting form will close at 8 am today, March 11. So get your vote in ASAP.

IMPORTANT REMINDER - Reminder: No students are allowed to leave campus through the doors of the 200 building during school hours. All students - including seniors who leave early - must exit through the front lobby.

CHROMEBOOKS - All Chromebooks and chargers should have been returned to the LHS library. If you have a Chromebook or charger, please return it to the LHS library as soon as possible.
