Your Google Account

All student passwords have been reset back to date of birth. MIDDLE AND HIGH students will be forced to select a NEW password after logging in with their date of birth. The new password CANNOT be date of birth or any password you've used with Google in the past. This is to ensure your account remains safe. Please select a strong password that includes numbers and symbols. Passwords must be at least 8 characters long. If you are having issues with your password, contact your school's Tech Coach.

There are two ways to log into Google - Google Apps (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Classroom, etc.) and Google Chrome (bookmarks, extensions, etc.). On a Chromebook, you are automatically logged into Chrome and your Google Apps. On a desktop or laptop, you have to log into Apps and Chrome separately.

So WHY log into Chrome on a desktop/laptop? You get access to apps & extensions, & it syncs your bookmarks across devices. If you log into Chrome on a public or shared computer/laptop, BE SURE TO LOG OUT OF CHROME!

Log into Google Chrome:

• Click your avatar in the top right of the Chrome browser. 
• If you are already signed into your Google account (apps), click Turn on sync.
• Enter your LPSS google credentials.
• Click "Create a New Profile" if prompted.

NOTE: This is also where you can logout of Chrome.
