Counselors' Corner

Introductions

Hello! My name is Dylan Hebert and I am the 3rd through 5th grade counselor.

I am a Lafayette native who just recently moved back after living in Alabama. I graduated from UL in 2020 with my secondary social studies education degree and went to Auburn University for my school counseling degree, graduating in 2022. Before moving back home, I was a mental health school counselor for Lee County for 2 years. My wife, Claire, and I enjoy our time with our two dogs, Sunny and Rosie. When we have free time, we love to be outside, watch college sports, and spend time with our family. I look forward to helping you and your family out in whatever ways that I can!

Hi! My name is Olivia Baker and I am the Pre-K to 2nd grade school counselor.

I graduated from UL in 2016 with a degree in Child and Family Studies and obtained my masters at UL in Counselor Education and School Counseling in 2021. Before becoming a school counselor, I was working in private practice as a provisional licensed professional counselor seeing children, teens and adults. My husband, Tanner, and I enjoy spending time with our animals (Minou, our cat, Walt, our dog, and our 6 chickens). When we are not working, we also enjoy cooking, being outside, watching a new TV series, and spending time with friends and family. I am eager to meet and work with you and your family in the best way I can!
