Technology / Video Consent Form - Students, please make sure you have turned in your technology/video consent forms (Page 3 of your student handbooks) to your Homeroom Teachers. If you need a copy of the form, ask your teacher or check with the front office.

ACCEPTABLE USAGE POLICY Form from LPSS - Students, please make sure you have turned in your LPSS Acceptable Usage Policy form.  You may print out a copy from the link here.    AUP Form  If you do not turn in this form, your GOOGLE ACCOUNTS will be suspended. This is NOT the same as the LHS Technology / Video Consent Form above.

PROJECT GRADUATION - Seniors and Grad. Juniors, this week is the last week to purchase Proj Grad tickets for $25 & 3 extra entries into the prize drawings.  Next week tickets increase to $30.  Prizes will include TV's, laptops, mini fridges, & other items needed for college, DJ Mr. Socialite will be there, there will be lots of activities, food, beverages, & most importantly, this will be a great time to celebrate one last time as a class.  The Proj Grad Committee is getting ready to place the t-shirt order.  Please purchase your tickets early so that we can get your correct sizes. Tickets can be purchased daily from Jacory Bernard, Meeyana Richard Dhaija Smith, Armani Bailey & Adele Hebert.  Tickets can also be purchased during both lunches this Friday. 

DRIVERS ED - If you are interested in taking the drivers education course, information can be picked up in the main office. 

Mr. & Ms LHS  - Congratulations to Jacory Bernard - Mr LHS and Jada Washington - Ms LHS

LADY LION TRACK TEAM - Congratulations to the LHS Lady Lion track team for winning District. Good Luck at Regionals. 

AP EXAMS - Registration will take place all week during both lunches in the lobby. Cost is $93 cash or check.

NATIONAL MERIT FINALIST - Congratulations to Sarah Cagle, Joseph Mouton, Jackson Munsell, Noah Prejean, Lauren Suire, and Chad Wood for being named National Merit Finalists.  Very proud of you!

FOOTBALL 2017 - There will be an informational meeting Mon, Jan 30 after school in the boys gym for anyone interested in playing football next year.

After School Testing -  Will not be held on Thurs, Apr 13 due to upcoming break. Will resume after spring break.

Grade Recovery / E-campus Students - Grade recovery and E-campus courses must be completed by May 5th.  Your course will be dropped if not complete by this date. NO EXCEPTIONS. YOUR CLASSES WILL BE UNLOCKED DURING SPRING BREAK (QUIZZES, UNIT TEST, etc will NOT REQUIRE a E-campus staff to unlock)

COLOR GUARD - The 27 Time STATE CHAMPION COLOR GUARD is looking for NEW MEMBERS.  Dance and twirling workshops will be held April 24-26 in the Girl's Gym from 4:30-6:30pm.  Bring a Friend.

CAFE des LIONS - The coffee shop willb e giving out "buy 1 get 1 free" chipotle coupons with the purchase of a hot coffee, iced coffee, or hot cocoa.  Stop by the library at anytime for tasty beverages.

YEARBOOKS - Hey Mighty Lions!!! Waiting for the perfect time to order your 2017 Yearbook.  Well now is the time.  Order in the month of February and recieve $5 off.  Go to yearbookordercenter.com and enter CODE #16167.

PRIDE PERIOD
- Please follow you new schedules for your Pride Period.  Seniors, if you do now have a 3rd Period on your schedule, report to the Boys Gym.

JUNIORS - Wed, Mar 15 is the last day to pay Jr. Fees before they go up to $50.  Currently $25 and can be paid in Ms. Migues room during Pride Period on Wed, Mar 15.

SENIORS -
***Attention seniors... senior fee is now $50 after Dec. 1.  This fee will go up again March 1 to $60. Please pay Mrs. Guidry in Rm 241 at lunch or during 8th period.

***Academic Patches have arrived.  If you received a congratulatory letter in October stating you were a recipient of the academic letter award and patch, please come see Ms. Augustus in the counselor's office.

SENIOR SHIRTS - The senior shirts are now on sale for $15.  You may purchase them in Rm 241 (Mrs. Guidry's Room) or Rm 240 (Mrs. Allen's Room)

FRESHMEN SHIRTS - The freshmen t-shirts are in!  If you paid the class fee, but did not get a shirt, come pick up your shirt in Mrs. Ogle's Room (Rm 502)

JUNIOR SHIRT ORDERS - Orders will be taken Tuesday thru Friday of this week.  (Before school in lobby only) $7 for sizes S - XL and $9 for 2XL and above.

CLUBS / ORGANIZATIONS:

KEY CLUB - Meeting Wed, April 26 after school to discuss banquet and introduce next year's officers.  It is imperative that you attend.

POETRY OUT LOUD - Competed in the regional poetry out loud convention this weekend.  Congratulations to Olivia Vaussine and Bailey Charles for advancing to state!

Reminder - With weather getting colder, we can NOT have :  Sweats, Blankets, or Pillows on campus and NO Hats in Buildings ! ! ! Items will be confiscated.

NEW DRESS CODE - New dress code for the 2016-2017 School Year

      TOPS - Black Polo Style or Black/Green t-shirt purchased from LHS
      BOTTOMS - Khaki or Navy pants, shorts, or skirts (No Black)
      OUTER WEAR - Sweat Shirts/Hoodies in approved school color (Must be LHS Related)

Sports Schedules -
Check Sports Section for Game Schedules for upcoming seasons

SHORTS/SKIRTS - Shorts/Skirts/Skorts MUST BE no shorter than 4" above the knee.

PBIS T-Shirts - PBIS T-shirts may be worn any day in place of uniform black/green PoloShirts.  Can be purchased for $14.00 at Orientation

Student ID's - Be sure to wear you ID's at all times - SAFETY

Class Fees / Dues - Remember to pay your Fr/So/Jr/Sr Class fees and also your individual course fees.

All Book Bags MUST BE MESH / CLEAR
