Classroom Expectations
 Respectful
  • Respect property. (yours and others)
  • Only speak at normal voice levels.
  • Follow directions the first time they are given.
 Responsible
  • Be on time.
  • Be prepared for class.
  • Be productive at all times.
  • Remain quiet while others are addressing the whole class.
 Safe
  • Walk at all times.
  • Keep all body parts and objects to yourself.
  • Have a hall pass before leaving the classroom.


Hallway Expectations
 
 Respectful
  • Respect property (yours and others).
  • Quiet Zones are nonspeaking areas.
  • Follow staff instructions promptly.
 Responsible
  • Stay on the right side of the hallway.
  • Promptly move to your next area.
  • Have a hall pass when walking in the hallways during class time.
  • Stay on the side walks.
  • Hold equipment and supplies appropriately during transitioning.  
  • Use appropriate routes to destinations.
 Safe
  •  Stay to the right side.
  • Walk at all times.
  • Stay seated until told to stand.
  • Keep all body parts to yourself.
  • Allow others to pass when waiting.
  • Keep hallways free of food, gum, or drinks.

Restroom Expectations
 
 Respectful
  •  Respect property (yours and others).
  • Be courteous and prompt when entering and exiting the restroom.
  • Respect privacy.
 Responsible
  • Quiet Zone.
  • Flush the toilets.
  • Clean up after yourself.
  • Only use 1 pump of soap.
  • Use a small amount of paper towel from the dispenser.
  • Put paper towels in the garbage.
  • Keep the floor clean and dry.
 Safe
  •  Walk at all times. (The floors may be slippery.)
  • Keep feet on the floor.

Cafeteria Expectations
 
Respectful
  • Clean up your area.
  • Speak only in whisper voices.
  • Follow staff directions at all times.
 Responsible
  •  Wait in line patiently and quietly when entering and exiting the cafeteria.
  • All food and drinks must be left in the cafeteria.
  • Be sure to have everything you need or want before sitting down.
  • Raise your hand for assistance.
 Safe
  •  When finished eating, sit quietly.
  • Stay seated until told to stand.
  • Keep all food to self (no trading/sharing).
  • Sit with feet on the floor, bottoms on the seat, and face the table.
  • Walk and hold the tray with both hands.
  •  Keep hands and feet to yourself.

Indoor/Outdoor Recess Expectations
 
Respectful
  • Follow staff directions at all time.
 Responsible
  •  Use playground equipment correctly (swings, slides, etc).
  • When indoors, use whisper voices.
  • Remain in your seat until given permission to get up.
 Safe
  •  Play safely.
  • Keep all body parts and objects to yourself at all times.
 

Library Expectations
 
 
 Respectful
  • Respect the materials provided in the library.
  • Library is a Quiet Zone.
  • Follow directions the first time they are given. 
 Responsible
  •  Come on time.
  • Be prepared to listen.
  • Remain quiet while others are looking for books.
  • Return books to proper place and in the correct way.
  • Wait quietly at the checkout counter when checking in or out books.
  • Report immediately to class after leaving the library.
 Safe
  • Walk at all times.
  • Keep all body parts and objects to yourself.
  • Enter and exit the library in an orderly manner.

Computer Lab Expectations
 
 
 Respectful
  • Follow directions the first time they are given.
  • Respect school property.
 Responsible
  • Be prepared to work.
  • Remain quiet while in the lab.
  • Only use approved/assigned websites and programs.
  • Be sure all paper is picked up and pencils are returned.
 Safe
  • Enter chair on the left side and exit on the right side.
  • Enter and exit the lab quietly, one behind the other.

Bus Area Expectations
 
Respectful
  • Follow staff directions at all times.
  • Use kind words and actions.
  • Wait patiently in line.
Responsible
  • Remain seated until given permission to get up.
  • Keep all body parts and objects to yourself.
  • Use low voice levels while waiting or riding the bus.
Safe
  • Stay in your bus line.
  • Walk at all times.
 

Car Rider Area Expectations
 
 
Respectful
  • Follow staff directions at all times.
Responsible
  • Keep your belongings in your school bag.
  • Look for your car, stand, and wait for directions when you see it arrive.
  • Remain quiet.
Safe
  • Remain on patio until your car arrives.
  • Wait until the vehicle is stopped completely in the red zone to enter.
  • Walk at all times.
