School Calendars Available Online
The calendars for school years 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 have been approved and are available online.  They can be viewed, printed, and/or downloaded by clicking the School Calendar link under Quick Links to the right of this article.

Summer School for Deficiencies
Summer school will be provided  for  Lafayette Parish School System students in grades 5 – 12.   Summer school provides an opportunity for students who have FAILED a subject to remove that deficiency.   Summer school is not for students to receive additional credit.  Click here for additional information.

Revised Student Discipline Policy and Student Bus Discipline Policy
The Lafayette Parish School System has adopted modifications to the Student Discipline Policy and the Student Bus Discipline Policy.  The board adopted the new plans in November and December meetings and set January 5, 2009 as the date to begin implementation.  Both documents are available to view and print by clicking on the Discipline Matrix Link under Quick Links on the right.  Additionally, you may request a copy from your child's school.  Please contact your child's principal or the Child Welfare and Attendance Supervisor, Brandi Gonzales, with specific questions about the new policies.
