Lafayette Parish School System Superintendent’s Golf Tournament Scholarship

The Lafayette Parish School System organizes its annual Superintendent’s Golf Tournament to fund college scholarships for students graduating from Lafayette Parish Public Schools. This year, the 20th Annual Superintendent’s Golf Tournament was held at the Wetland’s Golf Course on April 10, 2017. Thanks to the generosity of supporting sponsors, the tournament raised over $30,000. Since 1997, over $400,000 has been awarded in scholarships. Scholarships are awarded to students who show academic potential, a desire to succeed, and a financial need. This year a total of $31,000 was awarded in scholarships to 19 students. Individual awards ranged from $1,000 to $2,500.
