JUMP START SUMMER

What is the Jump Start Summer program?
Hosted each year by the Career and Technical Education Department, Jump Start Summer is a State-endorsed program designed to provide students with work opportunities to earn a summer wage, course credit and industry-based certification.

Interested students must apply for Jump Start Summer in March. The 2024 program will begin May 28th through June 19th.

LPSS offers a wide range of courses for Jump Start Summer, including Carpentry, Culinary, Electrician, Medical Assistant, Principles of Business, among others.
